10.30 -13.30 Roundtable on coastal heritage and livelihoods protection on the example of Fleinvær and Givær islands, coasts of Gildeskal and Bodo municipalities. The main topic is the importance of local heritage in the global challenges and how planning and regulations should help to preserve the coastal heritage for the future. Introductory speeches on the values and challenges of Fleinvær island, coastlines of Gildeskal and Bodö municipalities, and rights-based approaches. Community-based protection and enhancement of holistic natural and cultural environments - settlement structure, buildings, coastal livelihoods, natural and cultural continuity from local and international perspectives.
