Nils Olav Johansen holds a position as professor in jazz guitar at the renowned dep. of jazz at NTNU in Trondheim. Both his style of improvisations and singing technique are some of the most remarkable you find in the present world of jazz today. Influences from world music, from burlesque, from pop and classic are mixed in a personality that is chawdropping. His musical meetings with Håvard stretches through 1991-98 in the two projects Farmers market and Frode Fjellheim Transjoik.
