I was born and raised in Lüneburg, Germany. After more than three years of practical training in a museum and a private conservation laboratory, I studied the conservation of paintings and polychrome surfaces at the University of Applied Sciences and Art (HAWK) in Hildesheim (2000-2005).
I am living in Norway since 2014.
As a qualified conservator NKF-N, I have worked both as a freelance conservator and as an employee in museums and (educational-)institutions. I have experience related to the management of complex project work within the field of conservation. As an executive painting conservator and CEO I represent my company which was established in 2022. I work i.a. with active conservation and professional advice within preventive conservation for museums, public and private actors.
Since 2022, I have been a board member of NKF-N (Nordic Conservators Association Norway). Since 2023 I have been a board member of ICOMOS Norway and a member of IIWC.
