Estonia
I am the leader of the SA Seto Institute. The mission of the organization is various activities for the preservation, research and transmission of the Seto language and culture. You can find out more on the institute's website https://www.setoinstituut.ee/.
One of my great affections is Seto architecture, in the field of research of which I have also defended my research master's degree at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. As a result of decades of work, a monographic book about Seto village chapels - "Setomaa tsässonad" - has been published in cooperation with Tapio Mäkeläinen.
In addition to the research side, I also own a small building company that renovates old log buildings and has installed hundreds of wooden roofs.
